Opis Badania

Currently, our center is doing a lot of scientific research on human morality. We are studying how children make decisions about other species (speciesism), or how they make decisions about perpetrators depending on information about what the perpetrator thinks and feels. We also study the moral foreign language effect, moral conformity, the relationship between moral and aesthetic values (including how the attractiveness or age of a face affects one’s thinking about another person’s morality), how men and women perceive their morality (we conduct research in more than 60 countries!), how the morality of people in traditional tribes differs from the morality of people in industrialized countries, how meditation and mindfulness change our moral thinking, the unethical behaviors of Polish scientists, the penitence congruity effect, views on abortion and their relationship to moral foundations, the perception of experts in terms of their morality and competence, whether listening to a song can change our moral decisions, how people on the autism spectrum make moral decisions and much more.
